Autograph letter signed, dated : Weimar May 13 1872, to an unidentified publisher, 1872 May 13.

Thanking him for sending the French edition of Bach's chorales (annotated by Gounod), asking for Erk's selection of 77 chorale melodies with texts, commenting on Gounod's notes, pointing out a skillful change from minor to major--Liszt writes out the two measures from the chorale in question--expressing the hope that the two Bechstein pianos will arrive soon at the house of the Baroness von Meyendorff and Frau v. Helldorf.
